Thank you to Sue Hislop, my savy tech editor and test knitters. I couldn’t do it without you!

As we near warmer or cooler weather JC-Halcyon is a staple for the transitioning of seasons – for cool evenings in the spring, days by the lake in the summer, and a constant companion as the seasons transition again to cooler or warmer weather, depending on what hemisphere you live in!

Knit One Crochet Too’s DAISY gives us the perfect blend of fibers for just the right amount of warmth and the most beautiful weighty and cozy drape. Two strands of yarn are held together making it a quick knit and giving many color combination choices.

JC-Halcyon is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up, beginning with the back. Once the front is completed, the shoulders are created by short rows and seamed using the 3-needle bind off. The sleeves are then picked up along the armhole and knit straight through the cuff or tapered, as you choose. The collar is created by picking up stitches on the wrong side of the fabric as opposed to the traditional right side, leaving the seam facing the right side of the fabric, a pretty little detail to coordinate with the rest of the design.

A TAPERED SLEEVE option is also included in the pattern!
This design is also suited for machine knitting!
