This is a fun, quick and easy knit -- great for last-minute gifts! The slipped stitches look great with a variegated yarn, and the jellybean-like texture is so cozy.

The beanie is knit in the round from the bottom up. If you choose, you could also make a matching cowl by knitting a larger version and doing another 3x3 ribbing section rather than decreasing.
