Cheer up your sofa with a cuddly tortoise cushion! The tortoise body is knitted in two pieces and sewn together around the edges The head is knitted separately and sewn on the front, and the patch on the back is decorated with blanket stitch. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the tortoise is knitted in acrylic DK yarns in stockinette stripes on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling and buttons for eyes.
