These lightweight fingerless gloves are constructed “in the round” with 1x1 ribbing. A garter stitch panel with decorative glass seed beads is positioned over the back of each hand. The 138 round glass seed beads are strung on the yarn before casting-on.

The instructions are intended for beginning and returning knitters who may not yet be comfortable with interpreting conventional knitting patterns. The steps in the instructions are given with row numbers and stitch count.

Knitting skills required include: joining a round of cast-on stitches; knitting in ribbing and maintaining the ribbing stitch pattern; knitting through the front and back loops of the same stitch; picking up and knitting new stitches; and knitting two adjacent stitches together.
