Are you ready to work with colour, shape, texture, movement, and structure in your knitting? All at the same time? Let me introduce you to “kaleidoscope knitting”!

Kaleidoscope knitting explores the boundaries of knitting and takes it into new and different directions—literally. It is knitting for the adventurous knitter. Like the images in a kaleidoscope, the work is made up of sections that build on each other, resulting in an explosion of colour and shapes.

This introduction includes instructions for a swatch which will incorporate some of the features and techniques of kaleidoscope knitting.

You can also build on the swatch to knit a scarf or shawlette.
