This is a two-pattern, 24-page e-book, Short Rowing Across the Atlantic, with one pattern by Ilga Leja, the other by Jane Thornley: two patterns, two designers, one inspiration.

The Mid-Atlantic shawl (by Ilga Leja) reflects the dark and brooding waves of the deep ocean.

It uses a short row construction to highlight the contrasting movement of ocean currents. At the same time a short row ruffle along both sides, together with the rippling stitch pattern, contributes to the sea-like impression.

See the detailed description of Jane Thornley’s Shorelines wrap here.
