This pattern is for a pair of cable lace socks. The cable itself is a Japanese cable lace that is just perfect for socks. There’s enough “give” to make them comfortable, but enough unusual cabling to make them interesting to look at and fun to knit.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting and purling, and cabling).

The cable stitch is both charted and written out line by line.

This pattern is written for 2 circular needles and is written for sizes Small, Medium and Large, and sized by gauge.

The sock pictured here was made with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock yarn, in colorway, Grapevine.

This pattern was expertly tested by Rebecca Wood. (rkwood16@gmail.com)
