I do like Scandinavian Design and stranded Knitting Patterns.

Living in Australia, I was getting a bit tired of all the reindeer featuring on hats, and thought, I should come up with a more fitting theme for down under!

So I chose the beautiful, stunning Red Kangaroo, mixed in a few Eucalyptus leaves, and created this beanie pattern!
I hope you like it.

Sizes: 3/5 - 6/9 - 10/12 years ( largest size will fit small adult, women’s)
Head circumference: 50/52 - 53/54 - 55/56 cm or 19 3/4-20-1/2, 20 3/4-211/2, 21 3/4- 22 1/4 inches

Materials: DK Wool 50 g each for all sizes of the following colours: olive green, rust, light green and 100 g in mid brown

DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES and CIRCULAR NEEDLE, 40 cm or 16” SIZE 3 mm or US 2.5

Tension/Gauge: 23 sts x 32 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
