This is my take on the tank tops warn by pilots on the recent incarnation of Battlestar Galactica. Far be it from me to buy a racer back and wear it backwards…oh no…I had to KNIT it :)

It’s a pretty easy as far as construction goes imho, it was my first sweater so it can’t be too hard. I wear it as an actual sweater, an article of everyday clothing, not just a costume. I don’t think it’s really ‘costume-ie” and over a long sleeved shirt it just looks like a modern, albeit unique, vest. Yet anyone who’s in the know recognizes it right away!
