Reversible two-color Brioche stitch with color-changing yarn paired with solid color yarn is gorgeous and fun to knit. I had to offer this one for free since it is really the yarn that is doing all the work. My pattern is just the result of realizing the perfect match for this yarn to the Brioche stitch.

Instructions are to knit in the round, but you could easily adapt this to flat knitting if you prefer and seam together at the end. I think Brioche in the round is fun, though. Once you get the first few rounds established, there is a wonderful rhythm to the stitching.

Directions are given for a 28” circumference cowl. If you’d like to make this larger or smaller, just add or delete stitches in the cast on step keeping an even number of stitches.
