A small shawl inspired by Eastern European folk costumes, and intended to be slung asymmetrically around the shoulders. The pattern combines stranded and lace knitting techniques. The stranding is done back and forth and is worked quite loosely to create a more open texture than normal.

Knit on 4mm/US6 needles (I used a 31in/80cm circular) MC: one ball 100g/420m/460yds of Schoppelwolle Zauberball Crazy, “U-boat” colorway 1511
CC: partial balls of Rowan Pure Wool 4Ply, color 436 red, and 401 light gray.

Finished dimensions: roughly circular, 28ins/71cm across,
center back from CO to lower edge is 13ins/33cm.

The pdf contains short written instructions, and charts for the stranded and outer border sections. Familiarity with back & forth stranding with multiple increases is a must for this pattern!
