Mercato dei Fiori
A colourful triangle combining stranded and lace knitting. The stranding is done back and forth and is worked quite loosely to create a more open texture than normal. The stranding features small flower motifs and petal-like stripes in the outer border. It is a good project for being creative with your favourite colours. I’ve called it Mercato dei Fiori (flower market) after a Patti Pravo song I first heard when I lived in Italy.
