Keyhole scarf stays nicely around your neck and less bulky than a knitted cowl. Still keeps you warm and a great accessary piece to your simple sweater, coat etc..
Knitted with just one skein of Chunky / Bulky yarn.
The keyhole section is very fun to knit. The instructions come with some photo tutorials.

YARN
The first photo shown is knitted with Malabrigo Mecha. Single ply yarn is super soft and machine washable.
The second photo is knitted with Blue Sky fiber Techno. Super light and elegant look.
Any Chunky / Bulky yarn, you can get 4 sts / 1” with US10 works great. Please note that the project is knitted with US 9.

NEEDLE
You need main needles (either straight or circular) and DPNs for keyhole section. If you own interchangeable needles, you don’t need DPNs.
The samples are knitted with US9 needles. Please adjust the needle size with the selection of your yarn and your tension.

SIZE
This Pattern is designed for adult size. Although it is very easy to adapt to children’s size. You can follow the same instructions with Worsted weight yarn. Then shorten the length (straight section) 3~5” than adult size.
