One of my very first patterns! And a favourite to wear.

Select three colours and knit your very own strata of simple stitches and gorgeous shades of yarn.

The shawl is knit from the bottom up by casting on a small number of stitches and with every row a stitch is increased at the side. You will soon be zipping through the rows with this chunky yarn and the needle size allows for a soft drape to the garter ridges.

Changing yarn colours keeps it interesting and the simple stitches and easy to follow pattern make for a relaxing knit.

This is a beginner knit.

Berroco Vintage Chunky: 100g/3.5 oz. 125m/136 yards.

2 Skeins off white #6101
1 Skein Stone #6108
1 Skein Smoke #6106

The pattern is simple enough to make larger by adding rows to the over all design. The yarns used were used entirely with very little leftover so be sure to purchase enough to enlarge the shawl if desired.

Special thanks as always, to Allison and to H.W. for tech editing.

I have included some other colour combinations to inspire you.
