This is the adult version of the children’s Klid. It features one upper pocket, moss stitch knitted-in trim, and free form cabled trees on a reverse stockinette ground. The sleeves are worked top down after the body of the garment has been completed.

The yardage given is for a cropped sweater (extending to high hip). Add 15% more yarn for 4” of additional length. If you incorporate buttonholes (instructions given in the pattern), the number of buttons will depend upon the spacing you choose and the length of your sweater.

Instructions are written, with the cabled tree patterns both written and charted.

Please note: the cabled pattern and the raglan shaping both decrease the overall elasticity of the finished garment. Please make a larger size if you prefer a relaxed fit.

I thank karenwallace for her test knit.
