This is truly a stash buster project. All these little coin purses can be made with just very small amounts of fingering yarn. All the yarns I used are Knit Picks Palette left overs, maybe the most being 25 yds or so. These are all approximately 3” deep, so just deep enough for coins or a lipstick and hanky. I am using one for Canadian money and one for American money on our road trip to keep things organized. These coin purses knit up easily in a day so make a nice quick gift for someone and would be big sellers at a church bazaar. They are so much fun to make and just too cute you will want to keep them all. The frames come 5 to a pack and are very inexpensive. The basic pattern for the coin purses is so simple and is very nice just done in one colour. Use the Spring Flower Pattern for a single colour pattern.
