This week on DrFrankKnits’ Free Pattern Fridays, I present a small knitted drag racer softie. When worked with worsted weight yarn and size 6 needles, it measures about 6 inches long. It’s a safe alternative to metal die-cast cars - perfect for little boys. They’re lots of fun for race fans of all ages and look great displayed on a shelf or table. They use very little yarn, so they’re wonderful for using up your stash. They’re also infinitely customizable by adding decals, embroidery, felt scraps, etc. to make it look like a true race car!
