The London subway is called “The Tube”, and you can knit this Tube Train as a toy, as a draught excluder, or a memento for London lovers.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the train is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The doors and front of the train incorporate intarsia colour-work. The carriages are joined together with snap fasteners.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.25mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 3)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g skein in each colour

NOTIONS

One size only - each carriage is 28cm long.

TECHNIQUES
