Kora features uniquely textured stitches and natural shades of soft alpaca blend in a design inspired by the intriguing structure and patterns of a tree bark. Kora combines three colors of stripes in different widths for an interesting light-to-dark progression.

The shawl is worked in one piece from the top down, and although the texture may look intricate, it uses only basic stitches. Kora is easy to customize in size and, if desired, it can be worked in just one or two colors of fingering weight yarn by simply skipping one or both of the color transitions. This design will also work beautifully with gradient or ombre yarns.
