Kusafiri
Kusafiri is a lightweight and airy summer shawlette that is fast and easy to knit. The colorblock effect is created using intarsia, while it’s peculiar shape with the use of simple increases and short rows. The garter stitch border prevents curling while the weight of the DK yarn is enough to give the shawlette a wonderful drape without blocking.
The design was initially conceived as a way to use up 3 balls of Drops Cotton light, but in this version, 4 balls of the same yarn are needed.
Kusafiri is a pentagon! Not a triangular shawl :)
