Sizing is based on head circumference:
NB - newborn (14” / 36cm)
XXS - infant, 3m (15-16” / 38-40.5cm)
XS - baby, 6m (16-17” / 40.5-43cm)
S - toddler, 12m (17-18” / 43-46cm)
M - child (18-20” / 46-51cm)
L - teen (20-21” / 51-53cm)
XL - adult (21-22” / 53-56cm)

Material:
This pattern is suitable for any DK weight merino yarns, perfect for scraps.
