An essential winter item, this easy cowl knits up quickly and can be made using a variety of different thickness of yarn. It’s entirely up to you how you choose to make it, there is no tension gauge to worry about and you can even use a combo of yarns held together as I did for a more textural feel.
I used 1 x Woolhunter’s Blue Faced Leicester Superwash DK x 100 gram x 225 metre skein in Very Berry Colorway and approx 30 grams x 225 metres of Woolhunter’s Mohair Laceweight in Lorraine’s Dream held/knitted together.

You can use any weight of wool you like or any combination of wools you like – the cowl is very adaptable and you can knit it on larger or smaller needles depending on your yarn – you will needto adapt the amount of stitches you would wish to use and how many rounds you would want to knit but again this is simple, any even number of stitches will work with this pattern.

My Finished Garment Length: (after a light pressing with my steam iron on wool setting) 36 inches circumference by 13 inches depth. A great stash buster too and I hope you enjoy making it.

PLEASE NOTE THIS PATTERN HAS NOT BEEN TEST KNITTED and is offered free on this basis.
