This Entrelac tam is worked with a different stitch design in each tier for a very nice textured look and a fun knitting experience including stockinette, lace and bobbles. The tam also features a hemmed rim for a soft finished edge. The pattern includes two tutorials on how to “knit backwards” eliminating having to turn work to purl and “grafting” which is used to finish the top of the tam.

Materials:
Recommend 40” circular needle, this is a great project for the Magic Loop Method. 16” circular with work too.

If choosing a solid color, keep it lighter, dark colors do not show the various stitch patterns well. If working with 2 colors; 2 oz of each color will be needed.
