I use these arm warmers to protect my skin from the sun while I am driving my car and to keep me warm from air-conditioning at the coffee shop and supermarket. These are pretty for summer and much more convenient than a cardigan. I also wear these so they show a little around my wrists when I am layering clothes for spring and fall. When knitting these, changing the needle sizes allows for a wider circumference at the elbow than at the finger cuff.
