The design of this infinity scarf is intriguing enough on its own, due to the stitches. But by adding beads, and using lace yarn with beautiful, long color-ways of stripes (such as Schoppel Laceball yarn), its effect is dazzling! The pattern is rhythmic and easily learned; the beads can be added using any technique (see note*** below) or omitted altogether.

Although the pattern is for an infinity scarf, it can easily be used as a straight scarf, unjoined. One long edge has an open lacy finish while the other has a tighter finish. By twisting the scarf, these edges alternate along the top & bottom of loop, and add further interest to the design elements.

Scarf dimensions: (Unblocked) 5 ½” x 72”. This is a very lightweight, lacy scarf which can easily be wrapped around neck twice or more, adding to the visual effect of color and design!

NOTE: This pattern is not meant to be a tutorial for beading. There are several different techniques, including pre-stringing beads and/or using crochet hooks, with wonderful tutorials online. It is an art easily learned.
