This Lacewing Shawlette is open and airy resembling the wings of a lacewing, thus its name. It incorporates a V-stich puff, giving it some texture and design.

The beauty of this shawlette is that it can be made in any type of yarn you desire giving it a unique look and feel. Thus, why gauge is not so important.

If you use natural fibers, your shawlette will need to be blocked. The size of your blocked shawlette will depend on how you stretch it when blocking and what yarn weight you use.

It is a shawlette but it can be worn in several ways. It’s a great piece of accessory, especially for the fall weather.
