Stranded colorwork leaf and vine motifs twine luxuriously around the brim of this cap or headband in two sizes (S/L) to knit in the round. Worked in soft, lofty DK weight yarn, the brim provides a dense, cushy windbreaker on the coldest winter days. The top part of the hat is knit in a softer, single weight fabric that slouches pleasingly in any arrangement of bands or stripes. Top with a pom pom made from leftovers for a fun final touch.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape.

Coordinating Colcannon Mittens or Kalio Cowl may be purchased separately

Cap is shown in size L, knit in Bare Naked Wools Stone Soup DK, color River Rock and Spirit Trail Fiberworks Zalti, colorway Devilla Forest.
