Pattern Errata (v2):

The stitch counts for the thumb section should read as follows:

Next rnd: 16 (18, 18) sts.
Dec rnd: 14 (16, 16) sts.
Sizes S & M only: 12 (14, -) sts.

At the top of page 3, the Left Mitt Top section should read “Next Rnd: p to marker, remove marker…”


These versatile DK weight mitts provide just the right amount of warmth for your hands during transitional seasons. The Lady Grey mitts have an eyelet rib to add a pretty element, while the Earl Grey version uses purl bumps to keep a more masculine feel. There are three sizes offered to fit a range of hands, making these mitts perfect for gifting or keeping as a special project for you.

This pattern assumes knowledge of working in the round and cabling. Both charts and written directions are provided for all stitch patterns.

Suggested Yarns: Bare Naked Wools Breakfast Blend DK, The Fiber Co. Acadia, or other DK weight yarn that knits to gauge.

Sizes: 5.5 (6.25, 7)” to fit palm circumference up to 6.5 (7.5, 8.5)”

Yardage: 115 (135, 155) yds {105 (123, 142) m}

Gauge: 26 sts and 32 rows knit in the round in pattern = 4” {10cm}

Needles and Notions: US size 2.5 {3 mm} double pointed needles, cable needle, stitch markers, stitch holder or waste yarn
