I am a huge Downton Abbey fan! I have watched the series from the beginning, and since its end I have rewatched the whole series twice. It is one of my favorite series to knit to. The Dowager Countess, Lady Violet, is my favorite character. She sure has a way with words …

I love Lady Violet so much I had to design a pattern in her honor. It had to be regal-looking -- so lace it is.

Pattern: written for Small, Medium, Large.
Written for 2 circular needles (32 inches long each) or magic loop.

Gauge: ( stitches to the inch on stockinette fabric. Adjust needle size to get gauge.

Yarn: Roughly 100 grams of fingering weight yarn.

’Lady Violet’ is included in the Spring, 2016 issue of Addicted to Sock Knitting eZine purchase price and is one of many other patterns and features in this eZine.
