This adorable baby blanket is great fun to knit with its combination of traditional Fair Isle borders and cute sheep motifs. The blanket is fully charted, with the borders and sheep charts laid out separately, allowing you to mix and match to create your own arrangement. What is more, individual sheep charts are provided with a blank sheep canvas, so you can create your own unique sheep panel!

The blanket is knit in the round, and then steeked, with the steek edges enclosed in a mitred border. Both the yarns used are machine washable and wonderfully soft, making this both a practical and beautiful gift for new parents.

Note on yarn: The pattern takes 3 balls of Drops Baby Merino and nearly every last yard of 3 balls of Drops Delight. For security, and to allow you to match colour repeats when you switch balls, I suggest purchasing a fourth ball of Drops Delight.

Note on Needles: The blanket is knit on a 3.5mm circular needle. I suggest a 60-80cm long cable for the main body, and a 120-150cm long cable for the border.
