This is the first in (hopefully) a series of vehicle pattern sets! With this set, you’ll learn to make adorable small classic biplane and police car knitted softies! When knitted with worsted weight yarn and US Size 6 needles, the toys measure about 4-5 inches long - perfect for little hands to hold and play with - and both models stand on their own to make them attractive display pieces when not in use. Gauge is not important, so adjust your yarn and needle sizes accordingly if desired. They both use only a small amount of yarn, so feel free to do some stash-busting! You’ll also need a small amount of Polyester Fiberfill stuffing.

I would classify these patterns as intermediate level - in addition to basic knitting techniques, you’ll need to know how to knit in the round on double pointed needles and seam neatly using mattress stitch and Kitchener stitch. As with all my patterns, both models include an extensive photo tutorial in addition to written instructions.

I have separated the patterns into 2 PDF documents (biplane on one document, police car on the other) for ease of printing and use. Make sure you download both of them!
