Larry the Lobster has giant claws to wave hello! Worked in a combination of knits and purls, with simple increases and decreases for shaping. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the lobster is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The feelers and skinny legs are i-cord tubes worked on two DPNs.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles and DPNs (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, beads for eyes, stitch markers and a stitch holder.

SIZES
One size only - the body of the lobster is 22cm long (not including the claws).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
