This colorful sock has an easy lattice-like color-work pattern that doesn’t involve working with two-colors at once. The advantage of mosaic knitting is you get the color work ‘pop’ of stranded knitting, without fuss and without yarn floats to catch on your toes! It looks like a lot of work, but only one color is worked at a time, and the pattern is created simply by slipping stitches. It knits up almost as quickly as plain stockinette.

The sock is worked from the toe up allowing you to try it on as you go to adjust width and length as necessary.

The sole of the foot is striped while the top of the foot and leg are in a lattice mosaic pattern. Be creative in your choices of colors - subtle or bold, or anything in between. You can even reverse the main and contrast colors for the second sock!

This sock pattern keeps you entertained without working too hard!
