Lavandin is a versatile, light, and airy cardigan, perfect for layering. It features beautifully textured lace panels at the center front and back as well as the sleeves.

The cardigan is constructed from the top down in one piece to minimize finishing, and to avoid any complicated shaping in lace, stockinette is worked at underarms of the sleeves and the sides of the body.

The textured lace panels have a lot of elasticity, which can be used for customized fit; a smaller size can be worked for a close-fitting cardigan.

The sleeves are designed with bracelet length, but can be easily customized to just about any length thanks to the top down construction; however, any change in length will require additional yarn.

Yarn
Miss Babs Woodbury (65% Merino Wool, 35% Tussah Silk; 400 yds/3.4 oz), 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5) skeins, shown in Provence.
Or 1200 (1200, 1600, 1600, 2000, 2000) yards fingering weight yarn.
