Cub Fans of a certain era will know the famous words, “Let’s play two!” were uttered by one of the most revered Cub players of all time--Ernie Banks. It’s always a great day for a ball game (or two) in Chicago but when the weather turns, true fans will want to be ready. Here are a great pair of mittens for those chilly Spring games or save them and wear them when the Cubs play in late October!

Size: Adult small/med, teenager
Needles: size 2, double pointed needles (you’ll need 4)
Yarn: Sport weight. You’ll need two skeins of contrasting colors. Larger needles and thicker yarn will yield larger mittens.
Gauge: 7 stitches X 7 rows = 1 inch
