Materials
Worsted to Chunky weight yarn. Any yarn with a recommended gauge of 18-14 sts per 10cm / 4” can be used to give different effects.

Green sample was knit in Artesano Aran in Dawn,
red sample in Araucania Nature Cotton in Red 17 and pink / grey sample in Malabrigo Worsted in Pearl.

The exact amount of yarn required will depend on the options you choose and the length you knit to but as a guide the options chosen for the samples used approximately:

Green sample 310 (340, 400, 435, 560, 600, 670) m /
335 (375, 435, 475, 610, 655, 730) yds

Red sample 160 (180, 225, 245, 325, 350, 415) m / 175 (195, 245, 270, 355, 385, 450) yds

Pink / grey 165 (190, 235, 260, 340, 365, 425) m / 185 (210, 260, 285, 370, 400, 465) yds

You will also need approximately 12 metres extra for swatching.
