Crochet hanging towels are no longer just for your grandma’s kitchen! Vintage-looking crochet kitchen accessories are in vogue right now, and even if you’re a beginning crocheter, you can whip this hanging towel up for your own kitchen.

This pattern primarily uses the linen stitch, a combination of sc and ch. You can create this towel in one color, but I love to add some color at the bottom and top for a clean, fresh look.

The Linen Stitch Hanging Towel is part of the Beginner Series 2016, so even if you don’t have a great deal of experience, you can easily handle this project. The most intimidating part might be the tapering hanger top…so I included a step-by-step photo tutorial to help you out.

If you like this pattern, you will also enjoy the Linen Stitch Dish Cloth and the Linen Stitch Kitchen Towel, both available in the Sunshine Charlotte Designs shop.
