Modeled hat created using Paton’s Decor in Sage Green (Main Colour) and Country Blue (Contrasting Colour). These two balls were sufficient to create a hat in any size.

Pattern includes instructions for linked double crochet stitch.

Gauge is 16 stitches = 5” and 4 rows = 2” when linked double crochet is worked in the round. Gauge is extremely important for correct sizing.

Required Materials:
5.0 mm hook
4.25 (or 4.0) mm hook
Tapestry Needle

Optional materials:

Polyfill (or other stuffing) can be used to stuff the spikes and help them to stand straighter.
