This little pear is a super stash-busting pattern as you only need a small amount of yarn.

THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the pear, a list of abbreviations and materials. The pattern is 3 pages and written in English.

TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew seams.

  • A pair of straight 3.75mm knitting needles (US 5)
  • Double knitting yarn (DK or light worsted weight); less than 5g in each colour
  • Toy filling (or you could use cotton wool balls to stuff the pear)
