A quick lacy shawlette that can be worn around the shoulders or snuggled up around the neck as as a cozy warm layer with a coat.

Construction:

Pattern is worked from a long foundation with each row being reduced on the ends by one fan and increases in the center for the shaping. Side edging is worked with each row until final 2 rows, which create the bottom edging.

Foundation is worked with the smaller hook, Body of shawl uses the larger hook.

To increase size of shawlette add multiples of 32 rows to the Foundation, and 3 rows to the Shawl Body. Yardage requirements will increase to approximately 410 yards for +32 foundation and 590 yards for +64 foundation.
