Lizzie is the ultimate accessory for cooler weather. Its pretty, meandering and syncopated cables are completed with a quaint seed stitch and rib border. Whether you make it long or short, wear it wrapped for warmth or loose for decoration, it adds that finishing touch to any outfit. Lizzie was designed with Malabrigo Twist, a marvelous 8-ply yarn that is as wonderful to knit with as to wear. This cowl will hang around with you all autumn.

Lizzie is part of a three pattern series designed with Malabrigo yarn called Syncopated Cables. The patterns can be bought separately or together as an ebook.

I will being running a KAL with the Syncopated Cables patterns! If you are interested post here.

Size:
Circumference: 60”
Width: 7.5”
Materials:
Yarn: Malabrigo Twist, 100% baby merino wool; 150 yds (137m) per 100g skein; color: #614 Terron, 3 skeins, 420 yds.
Needles: Size 10/6mm 24” circular needle.

Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch. One repeat of Body Chart is 5” wide. Gauge is not critical.

Notes:
This cowl is worked in the round. If you desire a wider cowl work more rounds in the Body Cable Pattern. To achieve mirroring edges, end with Rnd 12 or 2 of Body Chart before working Rnd 22. If you desire a longer or shorter cowl add or subtract stitches in increments of 20, which will give a difference of 5”. The sample size has 12 repeats of the pattern.
