NOTES:

  1. Afghan is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together.
  2. Afghan is made from 64 identical squares.
  3. Squares are arranged into Blocks of 4 rows of 4 Squares each and sewn together following Block Assembly Diagram. Blocks are then arranged into 2 rows of 2 Blocks each and sewn together following Afghan Assembly Diagram.
  4. Turning the Squares in different directions, as shown in Diagrams, creates the pattern on the Afghan.
  5. The Border is crocheted around the outside edge of the completed Afghan.
