If you are looking for a big super chunky cable knit blanket pattern, you just found it!

I would rate this pattern to be on the easy scale.

Skills needed: Knit, Purl, cabling, crochet chain (the crochet chain will be the super chunky “yarn” you will knit with)

Measurements: Approx 5 feet wide x 6 feet long
(because it is chunky it might come out a little bigger)

Materials: 9 skeins Caron One Pound yarn. (you will only use about ¾ of the last 3 skeins. Approx total yarn 6,813 yrds for the entire blanket)

Hook size: Q Hook (Boye makes a nice blue one)

Needle size: Go-Girl Giant knitting needles.
