This was my first crescent shaped shawl. It began my love affair with this shape.
It is a simple stockinette shawl that is worked from the neck to the bottom edge. It features YO increases in the body. Then I ended with a gorgeous lace edging that really steals the show on this shawl.
The edging is worked back and forth using one of the body sts on every right side row.
The Edging is called Grandmother’s Lace and is easy to get down once you have repeated it a few times.
This shawl is all about the Edging. Enjoy your Love Affair in Lace.
I have added a Lace Collar Versionstrong text to the end of this pattern. It should only take about 200-250 yards of yarn.
