A quick & fun little knit, perfect for showcasing those beautiful variegated yarns.

The main stitch pattern is a neat way to twist your stitches for a unique look. A quirky little flap is added at the end, great for using those unique buttons! Choose from 3 sizes – mix & match colors to knit one for everyone!

Pattern Notes
- Beret begins at the brim, worked in a rib pattern in the round. Changing to larger needles, you work the main body of the hat back and forth in rows. The crown of the hat is joined in the round again with smaller needles. Finally, stitches are picked up along the opening to make the button flap, and the seam is sewn closed.

This is an intermediate pattern, you need to be able to pick up stitches, knit in the round and work in a twisted stitch pattern.

Finished Sizes Toddler (Small, Large) 16 (18, 20)” / 41 (46, 51) cm head circumference – to fit approximate head size of 18 (20, 22)” / 46 (51, 56) cm. Beret measures 7 ¼ (8, 9 ¼)” / 18.5 (20.5, 23.5) cm high (to the top center of hat), or may be worked to desired height.
