Share your love of Axolotls with this cosy cowl featuring colourwork and simple textured stitches. Worked in the round, with a combination of written and charted instructions, the completed cowl is fully reversible, with the working side of your knit hidden for a clean finish. Instructions are included for working the cowl with a full panel of stranded colourwork or a simpler stockinette base. Both versions can be embellished via duplicate stitching for and even more colourful critter.

Materials:
3mm / 2.5 US 16” Circular Needles (or size needed to obtain gauge of 8 stitches per inch)
4 ply Yarn - Minimum of 25g each of two contrasting colours for colourwork, plus 50 to 100g in a complimentary colour for the main cowl
Axolotl coloured scrap yarn – optional for duplicate stitching
2nd needle for grafting the cowl together
Stitch Marker
Darning needle – for duplicate stitching and weaving in ends
