“Lufthul” is worked top-down in an eyelet pattern.
Knitting starts with a cast on at the shoulders for the back and is worked down to the underarms. Stitches are picked up at the shoulders of the back to work the fronts in two parts, joined together after the neck shaping. The front and back are joined together at the underarm and worked in the rounds until the hem.
The hem are worked in rib. Sleeve stitches are picked up around each armhole to work the sleeves top-down in the round to desired length.
The neck can either be left raw or stitches can be picked up for further finishing.

It’s important to follow the pattern instructions carefully so the eyelets will be correctly placed at the shoulders, the V-neck and after joining front and back stitches for working in the rounds.

The eyelets are not placed symmetrical but it’s possible to play with more or less stst at the edges.

Any other fingering weight yarn can be used fx Højlandsgarn by Garnudsalg/ Supersoft yarn by Holst/ Tvinni yarn by Isager – they all have 550m/600y for 100g

Please note that this pullover is knit at a loose gauge to achieve an airy fabric that drapes well. Other yarns can be used, but keep in mind that using other yarn qualities might lead to a different overall look of the sweater. It can also affect the amount of yarn needed.

A big thank you and hug to my incredible test-knitters and to tech-editor Sue-Cat.
