One set circular needles, size US 5 (3.75mm), 24” long

One set circular needles, size US 8 (5mm), 24” long

One set circular needles, size US 10.5 (6.5mm), 24” long

One set of 2 double pointed needles (dpn), size US 8 (5mm)

Circular needles are used for large number of sts required per row, not for knitting in the round.

Collar is worked in one piece that will fold over itself and be worn doubled. Using different sized needles will create the desired shaping, and therefore there is no shaping in the stitch pattern.

In blocked lace stitch, using US size 8 (5mm) needles,13 sts = 4”/10 cm
