This listing is for an instant download of a knitting pattern for a pair of Magic Spiral Baby Socks.

The pattern comes in three sizes:

Newborn to six months
6 to 12 months
1 to 2 years

The magic thing about these socks is the fact that they are very easy to knit as they do not require you to turn a heel.
The pattern forms a spiral and will fit on baby’s foot no matter how you slip them on.
No more fiddling to get the heel to be in the right place.
Just pop them on and bingo - a perfect fit!

The other advantage is that babies feet do not really outgrow them as there is no heel, they just get a bit shorter as baby’s foot grows.

I made them from quality European sock yarn which is both soft and absorbent.
You can use any 4 ply sock or baby wool you like. You need 2.5 mm metric or US 2 DPN needles and 50 g wool and a remnant for a contrasting cuff.
