Maia is the third in a series of planet inspired dragons based on our solar system and the gods the planets were named after. Earth isn’t named after a goddess so I went with the mother earth idea. I wanted her to be maternal and feminine. I also wanted her to have some of the classic colors of the earth. I love how she has this beautiful look but still emits a feeling of the earth with its land masses and clouds. I created her in a continuous manner so there are less seams. I would rate her as intermediate. This pattern PDF comes with many photos and video links to help with completion of your project.
